7.30 p.m. 28.5.28.

There were two casualties, the first

was a pirate shot by his confreres in the excitement of

taking the ship: the other was a Chinese 2nd Class

passenger who fell from the hill in Bias Bay after being

taken ashore for ransom. All the other passengers taken

ashore were rescued by H..S. "Somme" and the "Yeung

Shing" and the officers were unhurt.
